COVID-19: March 20, 2020 Statement

 

Dear Guests: 

​

The health and well-being of our residents is a top priority. The threat of the coronavirus (COVID-19) is causing us to review how we operate our community and look at the ways we can make changes to do our part to help prevent the spread of the virus. In alignment with public health recommendations as well as leading cultural and educational institutions, we will be closing all amenity spaces throughout the property, effective immediately.  This includes the clubhouse, pool, playground, gym, etc.

We are doing this as a preventative measure to decrease person-to-person contact and prevent the spread of germs through shared surfaces. Additionally, it will allow staff to focus on increasing the frequency of cleaning the remaining building common areas. 

 

We recognize that the closure of the amenity spaces may cause an inconvenience for many of our guests who enjoy the use of these spaces. However, we feel that the temporary closure of these spaces is an important proactive step that we can take to help reduce the spread of germs during this challenging time. We appreciate your patience and understanding. 

We are also taking additional steps to ensure the wellbeing of our staff. Our office will be fully staffed but closed to the public until further notice.  We are asking all correspondence to be conducted through phone, email or the new Shady Creek app.

In addition, as our offices will be closed to the public, and to further protect our staff, we will no longer be signing for packages/mail deliveries.  All packages will be left on the porch during working hours of 9am-5p.  At 5pm, all remaining packages will be locked up in the office for safekeeping.  We will put them back on the porch at 9am.  If you happen to come to pick up a package while a staff member is tending to the packages, please respectfully keep a safe distance per CDC guidelines.

While the bathhouses and laundry room will remain open for our guests that don’t have facilities in their RVs, we strongly recommend you avoid using these areas if possible. That being said, we will be cleaning the bathhouses and laundry room several times a day.  As a courtesy, please do your best to wipe down all surfaces after use. This is a great time to check out our new PayRange App for laundry payments instead of quarters!

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us do all that we can to help our Shady Creek community get through this difficult time. We will let you know when the amenity spaces will reopen.
